Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SurveyService, operated by SurveyService, a company registered in Sweden ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using SurveyService, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

SurveyService lets you build surveys, collect responses, and generate AI-powered summaries and charts from the results. We offer a free tier and two paid tiers (pay-per-survey and Pro) with different question, respondent, and feature limits, described on our pricing page.

You need to be able to form a legally binding contract to use SurveyService. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account.

The free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed through Stripe:

• Pay-per-survey — a one-time $10 payment that permanently raises one survey's limits. It's a single charge, not a subscription.
• Pro — a $30/month subscription, billed automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

We don't have a fixed refund policy — refund requests are handled case-by-case. Email support@surveyservice.app and we'll take a look. We may change our prices; changes won't affect a billing period you've already paid for.

You keep ownership of the surveys you create and the responses you collect. By using the service, you give us the license needed to host and process that content in order to run the service — including sending relevant question and answer text to our AI provider when you request a summary (see our Privacy Policy).

You're solely responsible for the surveys you run and the personal data you collect through them — including having a lawful basis to collect it and being transparent with your respondents about how you'll use it. You act as the data controller for your respondents' answers; we process that data on your behalf.

You agree not to use SurveyService to:

• Collect personal data unlawfully, or without a proper basis for doing so
• Send spam, or run surveys that harass, deceive, or defraud respondents
• Upload malicious files or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, scrape the platform, or interfere with its normal operation
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our agreement

Summaries, key findings, and sentiment analysis are generated automatically by an AI model. They're provided to help you understand your results faster, not as a guarantee of accuracy — the model can misread or mischaracterize responses. Review anything important before relying on it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; doing so removes your surveys and responses from our systems, aside from records we're required to retain (e.g. billing history).

We aim to keep SurveyService reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, add, or remove features over time.

SurveyService is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SurveyService after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
